I happened upon a headline over the weekend, on Yahoo I think, which said that the Oral part of GCSE language exams for school children in the UK learning foreign languages may be phased out because it was considered to be “too stressful” for them.

My name is Tom, thank you for visiting. I'm a 56 year old Englishman currently living in Scotland. You may realise from this site that I have a passion for Newfoundland & Labrador, but there will be other things on here as well (if you look hard enough!).
